We took an 8 foot long live edge Black Walnut slab and cut about 2 inches off a long side and positioned this piece as a back splash for the desk allowing tight placement along the clients wall. We used a couple of addition slabs for the legs giving the finished desk top a 28 inch height with a 20 inch depth. All joints were fitted with durable, glued, mortise and tenon joints. A simple, rugged and beautiful Black Walnut computer workstation for our client.
